Rita R. Allen Denne

Rita R. Allen Denne, 73 of Carlock, formerly of Danvers passed away at her home on May 24, 2016 at 8:10 AM.

There will be a funeral service for Rita on Friday May 27, 2016 at 11 AM at Otto-Argo-Calvert Funeral Home in Danvers. Pastor Jason Collins will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Stouts Grove Cemetery in rural Danvers.

Rita was born February 24, 1943 in Bloomington to Elwood “Deke” and Arlene Godden Allen. She married Donald L. Denne on March 12, 1959 in Bentonville, Arkansas. He survives and resides in Danvers. She is also survived by her ten children, Mareta Hines of Minier, Sandra Denne of Rantoul, Gloria Mudge of Oakton, VA, Donna (Ray) Miller of Parker, Colorado, Janna Denne of Morton, Donald Alan Denne of Salt Lake City, Utah, Samantha Denne of Danvers, William Denne of Danvers, Christopher Denne of Danvers, Victoria Denne of Danvers, four grandchildren, Matthew, Cody, Gillian, and Jared. She is also survived by two brothers, Ron (Peggy) Naas of Dallas, Texas and Jim Naas of Hudson. Rita was preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather John Naas, two sisters Jean Brown and Patricia “Trisha” Pillow and two brothers Gary Naas and Randy Naas.

She was a member of Danvers Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and worked on the family farm in Danvers for many years raising her children. She later worked ten years for Alexander Manufacturing in Towanda as a machine operator. She retired in 2010.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association or Carlock Fire and Rescue Club.
