MT. PULASKI – Norma Louise Beggs, 95, of Mt. Pulaski passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Vonderlieth Living Center, Mt. Pulaski.

Norma was born on April 4, 1922 in Mt. Pulaski, IL, the daughter of Edward and Lydia (Epting) Gimbel. Norma married John “Jack” Beggs on May 28, 1943 in Mt. Pulaski. He preceded her in death on February 28, 1978.

Norma is survived by her son, Dennis Beggs of Mt. Pulaski; her grandsons, Brad (Becky) Beggs of Elkhart, IL, and Doug Beggs of Mt. Pulaski; her great- grandchildren, Justin, Trenton, and Kelsey. Additionally, Norma is survived by one step great- grandchild, Andrew.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her sister, Bernice Gimbel; her daughter-in-law, Marilyn Beggs; and her granddaughter-in-law, Tiffany Beggs.

A graveside service for Norma will be held at 10:00A.M. on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Mt. Pulaski Cemetery in Mt. Pulaski, IL. in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Norma’s name to Mt. Pulaski EMS or Zion Lutheran Church of Mt. Pulaski. Services have been entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Mt. Pulaski.
