Mary L. Drinan, proud mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, dedicated Catholic, retired teacher, seasoned traveler, bridge player extraordinaire, and life-long White Sox fan, passed away in Northlake, Illinois on September 30th at the age of 94. She was raised in Kinsman, Illinois and lived in the area most of her life. She was married to Donald Drinan for 61 years; he passed away in 2005. Mary is survived by four children—Patrick (Mary Ann), Daniel, Mary Kay Nickels (Robert), and Donna (Thomas Underwood)–13 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, October 6th at 11 am at Sacred Heart Church, 219 Emmett Street, Kinsman, Illinois 60437. Preceding the funeral Mass, there will be a visitation with the family beginning at 10 am at the Church. A Memorial Service and Celebration will take place at Presence Casa San Carlo, 420 North Wolf Road, Northlake, IL 60164 on Saturday, October 7th at 11 am.
