  1. Dear Elaine and everyone in your mom’s family: I read about your mom in Tara’s lovely posting on FB. I knew Verna through conversations with you, and quickly understood she was a remarkable woman. One needs to be sturdy in both mind and body to live to 106! Wonderful memories of her will live on in her children, grandchildren, and greatgrandchildren. How lucky they all got to know her. I am sending our sympathy, love, and prayers. • What a great surprise. I remember at her 100 birthday Mass you told me she would get to heaven but you were not so sure about me ……………… You are like Joy ……….. always right. Thanks so much for remembering her.

  3. Don and Family — I never knew your mom but I’m thinking she had to be a wonderful woman. For a number of years I was able to enjoy the company of your father playing golf at Anderson Fields. Lawrence was a dandy fellow and we had great times. How lucky to have two great folks to learn from. Sorry for your loss.
