Geremy Edward Hamblin age 41 of Urbana IL formerly of Downs IL passed away at 11:20 AM on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at his residence. His funeral service will be 4:00 PM Thursday, September 14, 2017 at the Ellsworth United Methodist Church 101 Main St. Ellsworth IL. Dave O’Neall and Rev. Gifty Smith will be officiating. Burial will be at Friends Cemetery, Bentown, IL. Visitation will be 2:00 PM-4:00 Thursday at the church. The family suggests memorials be made to his family in c/o of his father, Gordon Hamblin 307 North Chestnut St LeRoy IL 61752. Geremy was born May 11, 1976 in Normal, IL the son of Gordon Edward and Mari Michelle Keene Hamblin.

Surviving are his father, Gordon Edward Hamblin, LeRoy, IL, mother, Mari Michelle Heidelberg, LeRoy IL, 3 sisters, Nicole Hamblin, Bloomington, IL, Jocelyn (Mike) King, Towanda, IL, Abigail (Michael) Mullins, LeRoy, IL, 3 brothers, Aaron (Iesha) Overholser, Arrowsmith, IL, Aaron Heidelberg, Noblesville, IN, Austin (Kelly) Hamblin, Monticello, IL, grandparents, Pete & Shirley Heidelberg, Downs, IL, also surviving Jeff Heidelberg, Downs, IL, a niece, Teagyn Hamblin, LeRoy IL whom he loved to tease, nephew, Connor Overholser, Arrowsmith, IL, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends who loved him dearly.

Geremy is preceded in death by both his maternal grandparents John and Beverly Keene and paternal grandfather Edward Hamblin.

Geremy graduated from Tri Valley High School and attended Parkland Community College. He enjoyed fishing, his times at Lake Cumberland, Kentucky the St. Louis Cardinals and he was an avid NASCAR fan. Geremy loved watching the Dallas Cowboys and the “Cowboy Banter” he shared with his best friend Tyri. Geremy left us to soon we will miss “Geremy being Geremy.” We will love and miss you always and forever. We know that Geremy is with his best friend Shawn. There will be a meal served at the church after the service at the cemetery.

Marilyn J. Sherman

Marilyn J. Sherman age 85 of Normal IL passed away at 12:04 PM on Friday, September 22, 2017 at the Mclean County Nursing Home, Normal IL. Her funeral service will be 10:30 AM Saturday September 30, 2017 at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, IL. Rev. Neal Kentch will be officiating. burial will be at Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington, IL. Visitation will be 6:00 PM -7:30 PM Friday September 29, 2017 at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, IL and from 9:30 AM-10:30 AM on Saturday at the memorial home. Marilyn was born June 7, 1932 in Meadows, Illinois the daughter of Leroy and Fannie Roszhart Reany. She married Loren Sherman on June 26, 1954 at Meadows, Illinois. He precedes her death.

Surviving are her 3 children, Jane (Tom) Wright, Clinton, IL, Gary (Joy) Sherman, Heyworth, IL,
Nancy (Kenneth) Brown, Bloomington, IL, 9 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, 1 sister and 1 granddaughter.

Marilyn was a member of Centennial Christian Church, Bloomington for her entire adult life.
She worked in the cafeteria at Bloomington Junior High school. Her faith and her family were her number one calling.

Kathleen D. Webster

Kathleen D. Webster, 65 of Bloomington passed away on Friday September 22, 2017 at 7:13 PM at BroMenn Medical Center in Normal. There will be a funeral for Kathleen on Saturday September 30, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Bloomington at 11 AM. Reverend Tom Wirsing
will officiate. There will be a visitation from 5-7 PM Friday September 29, 2017 at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home in Bloomington as well as from 10-11 AM Saturday at the church. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Bloomington. Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home in Bloomington is handling arrangements. Kathleen was born December 17, 1951 in Milwaukee, WI to Byron and Marilyn
Hills Webster. Her mother preceded her in death. She is survived by her father of Goodman, Wisconsin and her sister Judith Webster of Bloomington. Kathleen first worked as a Bill Clerk for Milwaukee Railroad for 16 years. After relocating to Bloomington, she received her Bachelor’s and
Master’s degrees in Communications from Illinois State University. She has worked in the Financial Aid Department for Illinois State University since 1995. Kathleen was also the Co-owner and Teacher for Footsteppes on the Horizon Jazz Studio in Bloomington. She loved working with children both at her
dance studio and teaching Sunday School. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Streamwood, IL and locally attended St. John’s Lutheran Church, Northside Church of Christ, and Trinity Lutheran Church. She loved dogs and was a trained professional groomer, a volunteered at Humane Society of Central Illinois, and pet parent to five Shih Tzus. She also had a deep
love of the performing arts – theatre, music, and dance. Kathleen had been trained in opera and was an
accomplished singer. As proud Wisconsin native, Kathleen loved her Green Bay Packers.

Memorial contributions may be made the Humane Society of Central Illinois or to the Music Department at Illinois State University.

John L. Stutzman

John L. Stutzman age 82 of Danvers IL passed awayat 11:26 AM on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at his residence. His memorial service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the First Presbyterian Church, Danvers, IL. Rev. Kathy Mitchell will be officiating. Private inurnment will be at a later date. The family will receive friends after the memorial service and all are invited to a luncheon at the church. In lieu of flower the family suggests memorials be made to First Presbyterian Church, Danvers, IL or Danvers Fire & Rescue Squad. John was born October 7, 1934 in Normal, IL the son of Roy G. and Alma V. Trainor Stutzman. He married Barbara F. Sebeny on November 28, 1959 in Bloomington, IL. She survives.

Also surviving are his 4 children, Russell (Crystal) Stutzman, Eureka, IL, Scott (Kelley Westerhouse) Stutzman, Terre Haute, IN, Sara Smith, Westfield, Indiana, Karen(Ed) Fabian, Braceville, Illinois, 12 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 1 brother, Ronald G. (Sandra) Stutzman, LeRoy, IL and 1 sister, Dorothy M. Stutzman, Bloomington, IL.

John is preceded in death by his parents.

He was a self-employed contractor since he was in high school. John enjoyed farming, woodworking and he was a volunteer fireman and EMT for the Danvers Fire Protection District.

Madalynne McReynolds

Bloomington – Madalynne McReynolds, 95 of Bloomington formerly of Towanda, passed away at 6:45 PM on Sunday September 17, 2017 at Martin Health Center in Bloomington. There will be a funeral service for Madalynne on Wednesday September 20, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Beck Memorial Home in Bloomington located at 209 East Grove Street. Reverend Jack Moody will officiate. There will be a
visitation from 9:30 -10:30 AM Wednesday prior to the funeral at Beck Memorial Home. Interment will be in Zion Bishop Cemetery in Towanda. Madalynne was born January 8, 1922 in rural Normal to James
and Delia Staples McReynolds. They preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her six siblings, James McReynolds, Frank Rudisill, Earline Carnahan, Margarite Williams, Erma Brown and Helen Sutter as well as her very special friend William Hirst. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Madalynne retired in 1987 after 44 years of service at State Farm Insurance Company in Bloomington. She was an accountant. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Towanda.

H. Lawrence “Larry” “Doc” Hedmark age 90 of Bloomington, IL passed away at 5:05 AM Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Martin Health Center, Bloomington, IL. His funeral service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, IL. A. Michael Segalo his son-in-law will be officiating. Entombment will be at Park Hill Mausoleum, Bloomington, IL with military rites accorded by the Bloomington -Normal American Legion Honor Guard. Visitation will be 4:00 PM-6:00 PM Friday at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, IL. Larry was born June 4, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Arthur F. and Blanche Lindquist Hedmark. He married Berenice Mandernack on December 23, 1950 in Chicago, IL, his wife of 55 years, She passed away April 23, 2006.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents.

Larry was educated in Chicago Public School. He graduated from the University of Illinois, Chicago, IL with a Doctorate in Dentistry. He served in the US Navy during WWII and later served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He practiced dentistry in Bloomington, IL from 1954-1996. He was very active with the Bloomington -Normal American Legion Honor Guard where he played trumpet for military funerals. Larry loved music, he played trumpet in the Municipal Band, Shrine Band and the Consistory Band & Chorus and the Bloomington Barbershoppers and he played trumpet in the Danvers Town Band. Larry was active in the musician’s union. He was a member of Peoria Masonic Lodge, Bloomington Elks Lodge and Carl S. Martin #635 where he was a past Chaplain and Commander. He was a private pilot and he enjoyed the Saturday breakfast gatherings with the area pilots. He was a member of the Bloomington Rotary, Bloomington Lions Club, Experimental Aircraft Assoc., the Bloomington Consistory and Muhammad Temple Shrine. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be missed by all who knew him. Larry was a man of integrity and honesty. He enjoyed helping others.

C. Neal Webster

C. Neal Webster, 74 of Bloomington, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 9:40pm at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center, Rockford, Illinois. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 4pm at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington with military honors conducted by the Bloomington/Normal American Legion Honor Guard. military honors conducted by the Bloomington/Normal American Legion Honor Guard Memorials may be made to the Central Illinois Small Animal Rescue & Care Center. Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home is in charge of arrangements.

Neal was born on May 18, 1943 in Clay County, Illinois. He is the son of Clayton E. and Merle (Lacoax) Webster. He married Linda Ward on March 16, 2015 in Clinton, Illinois.

Neal is survived by his wife Linda of Bloomington, three children; Timothy (Sherri) Webster and family of Goodland, KS, Monica Runyon of Bloomington and Alison Hetherington and her son Jack Hetherington of Dryridge, KY. Also surviving are five brothers and sisters; Carlin Webster of Ypsilanti, Michigan, Jan (Andy) Fleckenstein of Milwaukee, WI, Margaret (Larry) McCollom of Louisville, IL, Judy Richie of Alton, IL and Alan (Susan) Webster of Louisville, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Neal served in the US Air Force from 1960-1964. He worked at Wheatley Trucking in Bloomington. He was a life time member of the American Legion Post 14, Flora, IL and was a member of the IBEW Local 51 in Springfield, IL. Neal was a great listener and a man of few words who loved and was devoted to his family, friends and his dog “Libby”.

Dorothy Jane Oesch, 85 of Morton, Illinois passed away on Monday, September 18, 2017 at 4:30am at Washington Christian Village, Washington, Illinois. Dorothy was born on January 22, 1932 in Delavan, Illinois the daughter of Frank Edward and Alma Lucille (Mast) Roudenbush.

Ann raised her son Brad then went to work at Staples Office Store, and she was a bus driver for the Ridgeview School District and had also worked at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Colfax IL. She enjoyed yard work and the outdoors and spending time with her family. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Rachel was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Rev. Willet Dean, Evelyn Hartman and Rev. Charles Hartman.

Rachel graduated from Normal Community West High School 2011 where she was co-captain of the swim team. She graduated from Lincoln College in 2013 and later graduated from Illinois State University, Normal IL in May 2017. She was a swim coach for BNSC for 4 years and assistant swim coach for Normal Community West High School for 2 years. She started her dream job of teaching in August this year at Glenn Oak Elementary School, Peoria, IL. She was a loving daughter, sister, cousin and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her. Rachel was spirited and full of laughter, kindhearted, thoughtful, energetic and hardworking, and she did not hold back. Honorary pall bearers are members past and present of the swim community of Bloomington Normal and Lincoln College, Lincoln, IL.
